１９７１年京都生まれ。
９１年よりコマーシャルフォトスタジオにてアシスタント及びスタイリングサポートに就く。
９５年頃よりフリーランスとして活動開始、現在に至る。フード、ポートレイト、商品スタイリング＋イメージ撮影、ライブドキュメント撮影等を得意とする。
作家活動としては写真＋音楽によるインスタレーション「materiell euthanasie」展、写真＋音楽＋グラフィックスによるインスタレーション「taste of chocolate」展、写真展「きおくのきろく」「das Zenturum」等開催。第２７回日本広告写真家協会公募展入賞。
２０００年より専門学校や自身主催のワークショップ等、次世代の写真家やクリエイターの育成、写真表現の可能性を広く伝えている。
硬質な被写体の中に情緒的ニュアンス、時空の流れを直感的にとらえる写真表現が特徴。
アドバタイジングと作家活動の両立「作為と無作為の狭間」を信条としている。
現在、京都稲荷山の麓に拠点を構え、今後は石川県口能登の海の側、旧街道沿い集落で取得した古民家との二拠点化に向けた計画を進行中。

Born in Kyoto in 1971.
Started working as an assistant and styling support at a commercial photo studio in 1991.
Started working as a freelancer around 1995, where I continue to do so to this day. My specialties include food, portraits, product styling and image photography, and live documentary photography.
As an artist, I have exhibited exhibitions such as "materiel euthanasie," an installation combining photography and music; "taste of chocolate," an installation combining photography, music, and graphics; and the photo exhibitions "Memory Record" and "das Zenturum." I was a prizewinner at the 27th Japan Advertising Photographers Association Open Exhibition.
Since 2000, I have been nurturing the next generation of photographers and creators, and spreading the possibilities of photographic expression through vocational schools and my own workshops.
My photographs are characterized by their ability to intuitively capture emotional nuances and the flow of time and space within hard subjects.
My philosophy is to balance advertising and my artistic work, "the fine line between intentionality and randomness."

2016〜17年 写真展「das Zenturum」（つくるビル・ギャラリーmake／京都、ミリバールギャラリー／大阪）
